Features
Roll Bar Cover Installation Info REMOVE TOP AS PER FACTORY INSTRUCTIONS, FOR BOTH HARD TOP AND SOFT TOP MODELS. • On Soft Top models, you must completely remove the top from the vehicle including the hard plastic door surrounds, not just lower the top. Note: this cover will not fit Jeep Wrangler models equipped with the “Sky One” power sliding hard top.
INSTALLATION
Begin at the back of the vehicle and work toward the front of the vehicle.
Install #1, Rear Center Bar cover. Ensure that the cover is aligned with the dome light opening.
Install #2, Rear Lower Driver Side cover. This will overlap the Rear Center Bar cover (SEE IMAGE BELOW, white arrows).
Install #3, Rear Lower Passenger Side cover. This will overlap the Rear Center Bar cover (SEE IMAGE BELOW, white arrows). Check alignment to the opening for the noise cancelling microphone.
Install #4, Driver Side Rear Upper (door cover). This will overlap the lower bar cover (SEE IMAGE BELOW, white arrows).
Install #5, Passenger Side Rear Upper (door cover). This will overlap the lower bar cover, all zippers facing up (SEE IMAGE BELOW, will overlap at white arrows when fully zipped).
Install #6, Driver Side Front Upper. Zipper facing the sky.
Install #7, Passenger Side Front Upper. Zipper facing the sky.
Starting from the rear of the vehicle, review each piece that has been installed, tucking zippers on each component. Also ensure that all zippers are facing toward the sky and appear to be centered. On Hard Top models, installation is complete. Replace top as per factory instruction. ADDITIONAL SOFT TOP INSTRUCTIONS
In Soft Top models, there are 4 holes that need to be cut at each front door opening. This procedure must be done to re-attach the hard plastic door surrounds that were removed when the soft top was taken off.
This shows the factory hard plastic door surround with the top off, without the roll bar cover installed. Holes will need to be cut in the bottom and the top of the roll bar cover for these hard plastic retainer bolts. (shown circled in Red). We recommend a small “X” be cut, just for bolt access. The size of the hole only needs to be large enough to slip the bolt through and access with a Torx tool to tighten.
On the top (shown) and the bottom of the factory roll bar there is an opening for the bolt to feed through. After the cover is installed, utilize your thumb and starting nearest the front windshield, feel along the cover for the openings for the through bolt. It is in this area where you will need to cut the small “X”. Finish installation and replace Soft Top.
